Can you tell us about CWC?

We provide wound care services at skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). Our physicians are well-trained and experienced to treat all kinds of wounds.

Is CWC a nationwide provider?

Yes, CWC is nationwide and we have clinicians in other states as well.

Are your physicians trained to replace G-tubes?

Yes, our clinicians do replace G-Tubes at bedside.

Who are your providers, physicians or mid-levels?

Unlike some wound care companies, we do not have PAs or NPs. We only provide services through our licensed physicians.

How often does your provider round in the facility?

Our physician rounds once or twice a week depending on patient's needs.

When are the physician notes available to the facility?

The notes are available to the facility on the same day.

Does CWC use EMR for documentation?

We use a dedicated EMR for wound care and it is integrated with PCC.

Do you require prior insurance authorization?

No, we do not need prior insurance authorization.

What areas of CA do you service?

Although we are based in San Diego, CA but we provide services all over Northern and Southern California.

Do your physicians also treat common skin conditions?

Yes, our physicians routinely treat common skin conditions like scabies, dermatitis, eczema, fungal rashes etc.

Do your provide in-service trainings?

Yes, we provide in-service trainings as per facility request.
